UMC was founded in 1871 and has been a church known through the years for its hospitality and commitment to the community.
While the congregation of 1871 was fitted for its context and ministered to the needs of folks of its time and place, this body of fellow Christians today, though small, seeks to support people, believers or not.
We are as committed as ever to sharing the joy of God’s love for the wellbeing of others in this our time. We embrace diversity: the kind that respects and honors our differences as we come together in worship and join in acts of mercy and justice.
